We were extremely excited about buying the new Greenworks 25022 corded electric lawnmower in order to test it out. And we were really pleased by this mower’s design, cutting performance and durability.

We had read a lot of positive reviews of this lawnmower, and many people had suggested that we should have bought this lawnmower. So, we finally gave in to their requests, and we purchased the 25022 lawnmower.

After testing this mower out, we finally figured out what all the fuss was about. If you have read some of our other articles about Greenworks lawnmowers, you may have seen the 25022 mowers on those lists. That’s because this lawnmower is one of the best mowers that Greenworks has to offer.

The Greenworks 25022 is a 12 Amp 20” lawnmower. The deck of this lawnmower is made of durable steel. It’s quite versatile, and you can mow in different cutting modes while using this lawnmower.

Since this mower has a 20-inch-long cutting path, it’s best suited for small to mid-sized yards. However, it’ll be really tough for you if you try to mow a large lawn with this mower. And this mower provides the user with the option to change the cutting height of the deck.

Adjusting the cutting height of it is quite easy, and you can do that just by using a single lever that’s located near the rear wheels. When you set the cutting height using the lever, all four wheels will get adjusted at the same time.

This mower is pretty lightweight, and it weighs about 56 pounds. You can easily lift the lawnmower and move it if it gets stuck somewhere in the yard. This mower requires a minimal amount of assembly, and you won’t even need any tools to assemble it.

All you have to do is put the handles in the correct position and secure them by using the cam locks. There is also a cord lock on the handle that prevents the electric cord from getting disconnected.

This mower can mow around hilly terrains and steep slopes. But, remember, it can’t go up inclines that have an angle which is higher than 15 degrees.

Features and benefits:

Starting:

The Greenworks 25022 lawnmower features an instant-start push-button mechanism that lets you start this mower by just pushing a single button. You’ll have to push the button down and then pull the lever to the handlebar and hold it in place. This will start the engine.

Similarly, if you want to stop the mower, then release the lever, and it will shut down.

Cord:

We suggest you use a 100 ft. 14-gauge triple wire cord. Handling the cord may seem a little difficult. But with enough practice, you’ll get used to it. You can put the cord over your shoulder so that it doesn’t get in your way while mowing.

Runtime:

The best part about this lawnmower is that since it’s an electric corded lawnmower, it provides the user with unlimited runtime.

Storage:

This lawnmower features foldable handlebars. You can fold them up and store the mower in your garage or your shed quite easily. It will save you up to 70% of storage space.

Cutting Mode:

This mower is categorized as a 3-in-1 lawnmower that’s suitable for mulching, bagging, and side discharge.

Height Adjustment:

The Greenworks 25022 lawnmower features a seven-position height adjustment system. You can adjust the height from 1.5” to 3.75”.

I bought a 20″ Bolen push mower 2 years ago late in the year and put no more than 3 hours on it. I ran all the fuel out the last use so I could store it. I could not get it to start the following spring and oddly enough my next door neighbor has the same problem with his. What a piece of garbage. I borrowed a mower last year as my dad had an extra, but I will have to purchase a new one this year. I have never had a mower especially with a Briggs engine that is that kind of garbage.
